During the symposium, Professor Shi Yuanyuan first extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders and expressed sincere gratitude for their presence. Subsequently, Director Sun Rui provided a detailed introduction to the current state of the cell therapy industry, Shenzhen Cell Valley's industrial layout in cell and gene therapy, and its research and product portfolio.

Professor Shi Yuanyuan noted that recently, many regions have successively released policies to promote the cell therapy industry. As a multi-billion-dollar health industry, cell therapy has entered an accelerated development phase. Shenzhen Cell Valley will closely follow policy trends, provide comprehensive services for product R&D and result translation, fully leverage its advanced technologies and talent reserve, contribute to the development of the cell and gene therapy industry chain, and strive to make positive contributions to the highquality development of China's cell and gene therapy industry.

President Hao Deming further introduced during the symposium that the CNMIA headquarters is based in Beijing. As a national, industry-based, non-profit independent legal entity, it is China's only nationallevel industry organization dedicated to industry services and management for non-government medical and health institutions. Currently, the association has over 500,000 medical institutions nationwide, including more than 26,000 hospitals, accounting for 70% of the total hospitals in China, making it the largest and most influential nationallevel medical and health industry association in China and even globally.

The purpose of this visit was to gain insight into national policy directions, grasp industry development trends, and clarify the industry's development trajectory through exchanges with member institutions of the CNMIA, while also exploring the potential role and cooperation opportunities of nongovernment medical institutions in the cell therapy field, jointly promoting the healthy development of China's cell therapy industry.
